Praise Is Not a Distraction—It’s a Divine Strategy

When Judah faced overwhelming odds in 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat did something radical—he put the worshippers on the front lines.

“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men... and they were defeated.”
— 2 Chronicles 20:22 (NIV)

Best-selling author Lisa Bevere, in Girls with Swords, writes:

“Worship is one of the purest forms of warfare. It confuses the enemy because it declares that God is still King—even in the battle.”

Why Worship & Praise Are Powerful Weapons

1. They Welcome the Presence of God

“But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.”

When you praise, you build a throne for God to sit on. His presence comes. And where God shows up, darkness must bow.
